Dr Gershwin Davis presents on Dementia Prevalence in the Trinidad Population
Dr Gershwin Davis of The University of the West Indies, Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pathology and Researcher in Biomarkers in Alzheimer’s Disease made a presentaion titled Dementia Prevalence in the Trinidad Population to the Alzheimer’s Association of Trinidad and Tobago (AzATT), Port of Spain Support Group, on 7 March 2020.
This was a summary of work undertaken onthe Trinidad National Survey of Ageing and Cognition by the Dementia Awareness and Research Group of Trinidad and Tobago (DARTT). Dr Davis gave a brief overview of the dementia condition and possible causes. This was followed by an overview of the research results.
